| The Investment Performance Analyst will be responsible for developing the firm's new investment performance function. The Investment Performance Analyst will build a next-generation performance and attribution system, will manage the process of producing the performance data required throughout the organization, and will create custom analyses to answer performance-related questions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or greater with an outstanding record of academic achievement.
- Strong information systems background including some exposure to databases and experience programming in languages such as Java or C++.
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working in the investment industry preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the systems, processes, and reporting that make up the investment performance reporting function for the firm.
- Acquire, install, and write software for an AIMR/GIPS-compliant next generation performance/attribution system to support MDT Advisers' quantitative strategies in the institutional, SMA, and mutual fund product formats.
- Provide custom analysis to management, sales, marketing, investment accounting, and external clients to answer questions relating to investment performance.
- Manage relationships with performance/attribution systems vendors.
- Plan AIMR/GIPS-compliance performance audits with the investment accounting department.
